Noam Yaron
The Fish-Man protecting the Mediterranean
After his impressive achievements—crossing Lake Geneva in 2021, the five largest Swiss lakes in 2022, and traversing the Swiss Alps in 2023—Noam Yaron is embarking on a new challenge: swimming across the Mediterranean from Calvi to Monaco without boarding the support boat! This extraordinary 180 km swim aims to set a world record for the longest swim in a wetsuit without strong current assistance, recognized by the World Open Water Swimming Federation and potentially the Guinness World Records.
This titanic challenge is part of a campaign to raise awareness of water conservation and biodiversity protection, promoted on social media and in the media, while collecting scientific data during the swim.
After an initial attempt in 2024, which was interrupted after 100 km due to bad weather (winds, waves, and opposing currents), the 27-year-old Swiss athlete will try again in 2025. The challenge will take about five days and five nights, with around 120 hours spent in the water, and virtually no sleep.
This world-first will serve as a viral communication platform across media and social networks, where Noam had already reached over 26 million people on Instagram and TikTok during the 3 months of the 2024 campaign. This makes the 2024 attempt one of the most impactful and profitable campaigns for both nature and the sponsors supporting the cause. Based on these results, the campaign is expected to reach more than 100 million people in 2025.
By supporting this project, you can directly contribute to Mediterranean conservation efforts. Join Noam and his team on this adventure to help save one of the world’s most endangered seas.
